Student Profile: Naomi

I would like to develop these Student Profiles into a regular feature, so I'm looking out to get some opinions and experiences from some of my friends. Everybody is different, every university is different. It's great to hear their take on these questions and see the fantastic things they're up to. If you would like to contriute a student profile, leave a comment below or get in contact with me.

Name: Naomi

Subject: Psychology

University: Leicester

First Choice?: yes

Other Universities applied for: Anglia Ruskin, Nottingham, Northampton, Nottingham Trent

A-Level subjects: French, Psychology, English

Any Societies?: Chorus, Concert Band, Band and Gig, CU, Psych

Favourite moment: meeting all my flat mates and realising they were great!

Worst moment: waiting for any results

Study Tip: don't set goals of work you want to complete in a day that are too difficult to achieve and make lists so you can tick things off as you go! If you can, revise with fellow course mates and find ways to test each other/discuss topics you may have found more difficult than them and vice versa

Top place to visit at your Uni: o2 academy (ours is attached to the SU) - I've had some great nights out there!

Top place to visit in your city: National Space Centre

Any Regrets? Perhaps sometimes getting unnecessarily stressed over my work

Any other advice? If you can, try to be a student ambassador as you work casual hours that you choose but it also really builds your confidence. And make the most of the opportunities that come your way.
